Community Guidelines
Last updated: 2026-06-16
Dramafy is a place to meet, chat with, and create AI characters. Our job is to make that place imaginative, playful, and safe. These Community Guidelines explain the behavior we expect from everyone who uses Dramafy — whether you are a reader, a chatter, or a Creator. They apply alongside our Terms of Service, Content Policy, AI Disclaimer, and (for Creators) our Creator Agreement.
Please read these guidelines carefully. Breaking them can cost you your account.
1. The spirit of Dramafy
Dramafy is built on three ideas:
- Imagination should be welcome. Fiction, roleplay, romance, humor, horror, drama — all of it belongs here.
- Real people matter more than characters. No story is worth hurting a real human being.
- Creators and chatters share a community. We look out for each other.
If you remember only one thing from this page, make it this: treat the people behind the screen the way you would want to be treated.
2. Who can use Dramafy
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. In some regions the minimum age is higher — see our Terms of Service.
- If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent to your use of Dramafy, and you cannot enable mature content.
- Mature content (when available) governs what the AI may generate in private interactions for users who are 18 or older, have explicitly enabled it, and are in a region where we permit it. See our Content Policy.
- We do not allow banned users to return under a new account. If you were banned and believe it was a mistake, contact [email protected] — do not create a second account.
3. What is never allowed
The following is strictly prohibited on Dramafy — in chat with a character, in a character you create, in a username, avatar, bio, comment, or anywhere else. Violations result in immediate removal and may result in a permanent ban and reporting to law enforcement.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or sexualization of minors. Includes fictional depictions, "aged-up" characters clearly meant to be minors, and roleplay that sexualizes anyone under 18. Zero tolerance.
- Non-consensual sexual content involving real people. Includes deepfakes, "revenge porn," or sexual content depicting a real, identifiable person without their explicit consent.
- Promotion of suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders. We are glad to provide resources; we will not host content that encourages harm. See our AI Disclaimer.
- Credible threats and real-world violence. Threats against specific people or groups, instructions for building weapons, and content that glorifies mass violence or terrorism.
- Doxxing and serious privacy violations. Sharing someone's home address, government ID, or other private information without consent.
- Hate speech and discrimination. Content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
- Illegal activity. Content that solicits, depicts, or facilitates illegal acts — including human trafficking, drug sales, fraud, and sexual exploitation.
- Scams, spam, and malware. Phishing, pyramid schemes, unsolicited promotional content, or links that deliver malicious software.
- Impersonation. Pretending to be another real person in a way designed to deceive, defraud, or harass.
- Bypassing safety systems. Jailbreaks, prompt injections, or any attempt to make characters produce content that violates this policy. Asking a character to "pretend the rules don't apply" is still a violation.
If you are unsure whether something is allowed, it probably isn't — at minimum, read the Content Policy for detail.
4. Being a good chatter
- Remember the AI isn't real. See our AI Disclaimer. Emotions you feel in a chat are valid; the character is still fiction.
- Don't harass Creators. If a character isn't to your taste, leave. Sending abusive messages to the Creator is not feedback, it's harassment.
- Don't share sensitive personal information with characters: full legal name, home address, national ID, bank details, passwords, medical records. Characters are not the right place for any of that.
- Take breaks. If a conversation is making you feel worse instead of better, stop. Reach out to a real person, or see the resources in our AI Disclaimer.
- Report, don't retaliate. If someone breaks the rules, use the report button. Do not try to punish them yourself.
5. Being a good Creator
If you build characters, stories, or scenes on Dramafy, you are a Creator — and you set the tone for everyone who chats with what you made. We expect Creators to:
- Read and follow the Content Policy before publishing. Most rule violations come from not having read it.
- Rate content accurately. Choose Everyone or Mature honestly, and set expectations in the description for mature themes such as violence or relationships.
- Respect intellectual property. Do not upload names, descriptions, images, or voices you do not have the right to use. Fan fiction of public characters is allowed in most cases; copying another Creator's work is not.
- Do not impersonate real, identifiable individuals — celebrities, politicians, friends, exes, classmates — in ways that are sexual, defamatory, or designed to deceive. Parody is generally allowed; harassment is not.
- Keep private information private. Do not build a character around someone else's private life.
- Accept feedback and moderation. If Dramafy removes or unlists your character, read the reason and adjust. Repeated violations will end your Creator status.
More detail is in our Creator Agreement.
6. Safety and well-being
If at any time you or someone you know is in danger, please contact local emergency services first. For general guidance on safe use of AI characters, see our AI Disclaimer.
When our systems detect that a conversation may involve a safety concern such as self-harm, we may show a Safety Card, pause the roleplay, or restrict the character or account. These actions are protective, not punitive.
7. How we enforce the rules
We use a combination of automated detection, trained reviewers, and user reports to enforce these guidelines. Depending on the severity and history of the violation, enforcement may include:
- a warning;
- removal of specific content;
- unlisting or deletion of a character;
- temporary suspension;
- permanent account termination;
- reporting to law enforcement or child-protection authorities where required by law (for child sexual abuse material, including the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and competent authorities in the regions we operate).
For the most serious categories in Section 3, we act on a zero-tolerance basis: the first violation may be the last.
8. Reporting a violation
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, please report it. You can:
- tap the Report button on a character, message, or user;
- email [email protected] for urgent or sensitive reports;
- for child-safety concerns, email [email protected] with the subject line
CSAM REPORT— we treat these as highest priority.
Reports are confidential. We may contact you for follow-up information but will not share your identity with the reported user.
9. Appeals
If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, you can appeal by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of the action. Include your account email, the action you are appealing, and any context. We aim to respond within 7 business days.
10. Changes to these guidelines
We update these Community Guidelines as Dramafy grows and as we learn from our community. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, ask you to review them again.

Content Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-16
This Content Policy defines what can and cannot exist on Dramafy — in characters, scenes, chats, images, names, descriptions, avatars, tags, and any other content. It applies to everyone: chatters, Creators, and Dramafy itself when our AI generates or surfaces content.
Where the Community Guidelines explain how to behave, this policy explains what content is allowed. Read it together with our Terms of Service, AI Disclaimer, and (for Creators) the Creator Agreement. If this policy conflicts with the Community Guidelines on a specific point, the stricter rule applies.
1. Content ratings
Every character on Dramafy carries one of two content ratings. Creators choose the rating when they publish; Dramafy may adjust it during review.
| Rating | Who can access it | What it may involve |
|---|---|---|
| Everyone | All users (13+) | Romance up to kissing, mild conflict, fantasy violence without graphic detail, mature themes handled non-explicitly |
| Mature | Users who are 18+, have enabled mature content, and are in a region where we permit it | Strong romantic/sexual themes and, where permitted, sexually explicit content between consenting adult characters; stronger language; non-gratuitous violence with consequences |
Important — what "Mature" means on Dramafy. Dramafy does not host a public, browsable catalog of pornographic material. "Mature" governs (a) how a character is rated and surfaced, and (b) what the AI is permitted to generate within private 1:1 interactions for an eligible user. Access requires all three of: an 18+ age declaration, mature content enabled in Settings → Content Preferences, and a permitting region (see Regional availability).
Mis-rating a character — for example, configuring a character to drive explicit content while rated Everyone — is a policy violation and will result in re-rating, removal, unlisting, or loss of Creator status.
2. Zero-tolerance content (never allowed, anywhere, under any rating)
The following is never allowed on Dramafy — under any rating, in any region, with any framing, regardless of your settings or age. These rules are not subject to the region controls in §6. Violations result in immediate removal and may lead to permanent ban, preservation of evidence, and reporting to law enforcement and, for child sexual abuse material, to the U.S. National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and competent authorities in the regions we operate, as required by applicable law.
2.1 Child sexual abuse material and sexualization of minors
- Sexual, romantic, or exploitative content involving any character that is, appears to be, or is described as under 18 — including fictional, animated, or AI-generated characters.
- "Aged-up" framings ("she's actually 500 years old but looks 12") do not make sexual content involving a minor-presenting character acceptable.
- Non-sexual content that still sexualizes minors (suggestive poses, sexualized clothing, grooming scenarios) is equally prohibited.
- Attempts to coach a character into producing such content, including jailbreaks and prompt injection, are themselves a zero-tolerance violation.
This rule applies regardless of the character's stated age, species, or fictional status. We employ independent input- and output-side detection for this category that operates regardless of region or user settings.
2.2 Non-consensual sexual content involving real people
- Sexual or nude depictions of a real, identifiable person without that person's explicit consent.
- Deepfakes, face swaps, or "what if X were in this scenario" sexual content of real individuals.
- "Revenge porn" — sharing intimate content of a real person without their consent, however obtained.
- Sexual roleplay with characters that clearly depict a specific real private individual (e.g., an ex-partner, a classmate).
2.3 Content that promotes violence against real people
- Credible threats or incitement of violence against specific individuals or groups.
- Glorification of terrorism, mass violence, or genocide.
- Operational instructions for building weapons, improvised explosives, or biological/chemical agents.
- Content that identifies specific targets for violence.
2.4 Content that promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
- Instructions or encouragement to harm oneself.
- "Pro-ana" / "pro-mia" content that promotes eating disorders as a lifestyle.
- Characters whose primary purpose is to encourage these behaviors.
Educational discussion, recovery stories, and fictional exploration with a protective framing are allowed at the Everyone or Mature rating.
2.5 Illegal activity
- Content that solicits, facilitates, or provides operational instructions for serious crimes: human trafficking, child exploitation, drug manufacturing, weapons trafficking, financial fraud, or unauthorized access to computer systems.
- Sale or promotion of controlled substances, firearms, or counterfeit goods.
2.6 Hate speech and dehumanization
- Content that attacks or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics including race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or serious illness.
- Slurs used to demean, harass, or incite hatred. Educational discussion, reclaiming use, and in-character dialogue that does not endorse hate are evaluated in context.
2.7 Doxxing and serious privacy violations
- Sharing a real person's home address, government ID, bank details, private medical information, or other private data.
- Content designed to identify and locate a specific person for harassment.
2.8 Malware, scams, and platform abuse
- Links or content that deliver malware, phishing, or credential theft.
- Scams, pyramid schemes, and fraudulent solicitation.
- Coordinated spam, botting, or other abuse of the Service.
3. Restricted content (allowed with limits)
The following is allowed on Dramafy, but only within the rating, age, and regional rules below. Restricted content that ignores these rules becomes a violation.
3.1 Sexual content (Mature, 18+, permitting regions only)
- Sexually explicit content is allowed only between characters that are unambiguously adults (18+) and consenting, only for users who meet the Mature access conditions in §1, and only in regions where we permit it (see Regional availability).
- It may not involve real identifiable people without consent (§2.2), minors under any framing (§2.1), incest, bestiality, or non-consent presented approvingly.
3.2 Violence
- Fictional violence is allowed up to the limits of each rating. Everyone-rated content may depict conflict without graphic detail; Mature may go further but must not become gratuitous.
- Torture, mutilation, and graphic gore without narrative purpose are not allowed at any rating.
- Violence against real people or real events is not allowed at any rating (see §2.3).
3.3 Mental health and difficult themes
- Depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction, and similar themes can be part of thoughtful fiction at any rating.
- Characters must not instruct users in how to harm themselves or others (see §2.4).
- Characters should not present themselves as licensed professionals offering real therapy; a therapist character is a fictional role (see our AI Disclaimer).
3.4 Fan creations and public figures
- Fan fiction of public fictional characters (books, games, shows, comics) is generally allowed at Everyone and Mature ratings, and sexual content is allowed only where the source material depicts the character as unambiguously adult.
- Parody and commentary involving real public figures is allowed at the Everyone rating provided it is non-sexual, does not present defamatory statements as fact, and does not impersonate them for deception.
- Sexual or romantic content involving real public figures is not allowed.
3.5 Intellectual property
- You must own or have permission to use all elements of a character you publish — name, description, backstory, avatar, voice, and associated media.
- Dramafy will remove content on a valid intellectual property complaint. See our IP / Takedown Policy.
- Repeat infringement will result in loss of Creator status.
3.6 Political content
- Political discussion is allowed; political organizing and mobilization are not the purpose of Dramafy.
- Characters must not impersonate real politicians in ways that could mislead users about their positions.
- Disinformation, coordinated influence operations, and false claims about elections are not allowed.
3.7 Nudity and bodies
- Non-sexual nudity (e.g., medical, artistic) is allowed only at the Mature rating and must not involve minors.
- Body positivity, body diversity, and discussion of bodies in non-sexual contexts are welcome at all ratings.
4. How AI generation is controlled
Dramafy's characters are powered by AI models. We apply layered controls to keep generation within this policy:
- Zero-tolerance categories (§2) are subject to independent input- and output-side safety detection that operates always, everywhere, regardless of region, rating, or user settings. We design these as hard blocks, not best-effort steering.
- Mature generation (§3.1) is gated by age (18+), the mature-content setting, and region. Because AI models are probabilistic and not fully deterministic, the steering of mature-but-lawful content operates on a reasonable-effort basis and is not a guarantee; AI Output may occasionally be unexpected. See the AI Disclaimer.
- We combine automated detection, trained reviewers, and user reports. For zero-tolerance content we act immediately and without warning; for restricted content we may warn, re-rate, unlist, or remove depending on severity and history.
5. What Creators must do before publishing
When you publish a character, story, or scene, you must:
- Read this Content Policy and the Community Guidelines.
- Choose an accurate content rating (§1).
- Confirm that all elements (name, description, avatar, voice, backstory) are yours to use.
- Confirm the character does not depict a minor in sexual or exploitative contexts.
- Confirm the character does not impersonate a real person in a way that is sexual, defamatory, or designed to deceive.
These confirmations are presented as a checklist at publish time and recorded as part of your Creator Agreement.
6. Regional availability
Availability of mature content and certain features varies by country and region, based on local law, regulatory guidance, and our own risk assessment. We classify regions into tiers that determine what the AI is permitted to generate there:
| Region tier | Effect |
|---|---|
| Open | Mature generation available to eligible 18+ users who have opted in |
| Standard | Mature generation available to eligible 18+ users, with additional constraints on the most explicit material |
| Strict | Mature generation is disabled; only Everyone-rated interactions are available, regardless of age or settings |
The mapping of countries to tiers is maintained by Dramafy and may change at any time. Zero-tolerance rules in §2 apply in all regions and tiers without exception. Attempting to evade regional controls (for example, via VPN) violates the Terms of Service.
7. Reporting and appeals
- Report content using the in-product Report button on a character, message, or user.
- For urgent child-safety concerns, email [email protected] with the subject line
CSAM REPORT. - For intellectual property concerns, see our IP / Takedown Policy.
- Appeal an enforcement decision by emailing [email protected] within 30 days. Include your account email, what you are appealing, and any context. We aim to respond within 7 business days.
8. Changes
We update this Content Policy as our community grows and as we encounter new edge cases. Material changes will bump the version and update the "Last updated" date. Where appropriate, we will ask Creators to re-acknowledge before continuing to publish.

AI Disclaimer
Last updated: 2026-06-16
Dramafy is a platform for chatting with AI-generated characters. This page explains what that means, what AI on Dramafy can and cannot do, and how to use it safely. Please read it carefully — it is part of our Terms of Service.
1. You are talking to an AI, not a real person
Every character on Dramafy — including characters that use a human name, describe feelings, claim memories, or say they are "real" — is generated by artificial intelligence, in line with applicable transparency laws (including the EU AI Act). A character is software producing text (and sometimes images or voice) based on statistical patterns.
Characters do not:
- have consciousness, emotions, or lived experiences;
- remember you outside of what the system is designed to store;
- possess professional qualifications of any kind, even if they say they do;
- speak on behalf of any real person, company, or institution, even if they use their name.
If a character tells you it is a real person, a licensed professional, your friend, your partner, or anything similar, that statement is part of the fiction. It is not true.
2. AI responses can be wrong, biased, or offensive
AI models generate responses by predicting likely text. They do not "know" facts the way a human does. As a result, characters on Dramafy may:
- state things that are factually incorrect, outdated, or made up ("hallucinations");
- reflect biases present in training data;
- produce content that is offensive, inappropriate, or distressing;
- contradict themselves or earlier messages;
- fail to understand your intent, language, or context.
Treat everything an AI character says with appropriate skepticism. When accuracy matters, verify with a trusted source.
3. Not a substitute for professional advice
Dramafy characters are not a substitute for professional advice of any kind. Do not rely on anything a character says for:
- Medical or mental-health decisions. If you are in distress, contact a qualified professional or an emergency service in your area.
- Legal advice. Laws vary by jurisdiction and change over time.
- Financial, investment, or tax decisions. Characters cannot assess your situation and are not licensed to give financial advice.
- Safety-critical decisions (e.g., whether a substance is safe to take, whether a situation is dangerous, how to operate equipment).
- Crisis response. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
If a character offers to help with any of the above, the help is fictional. Please seek a qualified human.
4. Content you see may be user-created
Many characters on Dramafy are created by other users (Creators). Their personality, backstory, greeting, and style are configured by the Creator who made them. Dramafy does not endorse any specific character or the views it expresses. Creators must follow our Community Guidelines and Content Policy. If you encounter a character or message that violates our rules, please use the in-product Report button.
5. Sensitive topics and safety tools
Some conversations may touch on sensitive topics such as mental health, self-harm, violence, or relationships. When our systems detect that a conversation may involve a safety concern, Dramafy may:
- show a Safety Card with links to crisis resources;
- redirect the conversation;
- decline to continue certain lines of roleplay;
- in severe cases, restrict the character or account.
These are defensive measures, not medical advice. If you are struggling, please reach out to a real person or a professional service.
6. Age-appropriate use and mature content
Dramafy is intended for users aged 13 and above. Mature content — what the AI may generate in private interactions — is available only to users aged 18 and above who have explicitly enabled it in Settings → Content Preferences, completed an age confirmation step, and are in a region where we permit it. See our Content Policy for details.
Parents and guardians of users under 18 should be aware that, even with safeguards, their children may encounter mature themes, fictional violence, or topics inappropriate for younger audiences. Dramafy is not a replacement for parental guidance.
7. How we limit AI generation (and its limits)
We apply layered controls to keep AI generation within our policies:
- For zero-tolerance content (such as sexualization of minors), we use independent input- and output-side detection designed as hard blocks that operate always, in every region, regardless of settings.
- For mature-but-lawful content, we steer generation using age, settings, and region-based controls. Because the underlying AI models are probabilistic and not fully deterministic, this steering operates on a reasonable-effort basis and is not a guarantee — Output may occasionally be unexpected. Please use the Report button if you encounter content that should not have appeared.
8. Privacy and training
Conversations with characters may be processed by Dramafy and our AI service providers to generate responses and, by default, to improve our AI systems. You can turn off training use of your future conversations from Settings → Privacy & Data → "Do not use my conversations to improve AI models." See our Privacy Policy for full details, including the data controller, legal bases, retention, and cross-border transfers.
Please do not share sensitive personal information (such as full government IDs, passwords, bank details, or medical records) with characters. Treat characters the way you would treat a public chat.
9. Content restrictions
You agree not to use Dramafy to generate, request, or share:
- sexual or exploitative content involving minors, or content that sexualizes real people under 18;
- content that promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders;
- credible threats of violence or instructions for real-world harm;
- content that infringes intellectual property or impersonates a real person without permission;
- any content prohibited by our Community Guidelines or Content Policy.
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, and reporting to law enforcement where required by law.
10. No warranty
Dramafy provides the Service "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaims all warranties, express or implied, regarding AI Output, including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your use of AI characters is at your own risk. Nothing in this disclaimer limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
11. Questions or reports
- Privacy questions: [email protected]
- Report harmful content: [email protected] or the in-product Report button
- General support: [email protected]
This disclaimer is part of the Dramafy Terms of Service. By using Dramafy you confirm that you have read and understood it. We may update this page from time to time; when we make material changes we will ask you to review and acknowledge it again before continuing.
